This workshop will show you how to:
- Define the pelvic floor & identify key pelvic floor muscles related to bowel function
- Identify key causes of constipation (scar tissue, diet, visceral restrictions, stress, poor toileting habits, poor fluid intake, excessive abdominal tension, etc).
- Describe belly breathing and how it impacts pelvic floor function related to pooping
- Demonstrate proper toileting posture and defecation mechanics
