In this interview, Beth Hockman focuses on ways that parents can build positive relationships with their kids (even during a pandemic!). She also shares strategies for kindling a family culture, and why it is so important that we do so. Lastly, she shares tips for supporting our children in becoming resilient. With a B.S. in Social Psychology and an M.S. in Experiential Education from Minnesota State University, Beth has been in the experiential education field for over 20 years. She has worked for various adventure education programs including 18 years with Outward Bound in both the U.S. and Africa. As an independent facilitator of Love and Logic, Beth teaches both parents and educators how to use this the “love and logic” approach to create responsible, thoughtful young people.
