Carmen Hipps

Carmen, originally from South Carolina, has called the WNC mountains her home since 1998. She brings 20+ years of medical field experience to the practice, having worked as a Medical Assistant and spent time in Podiatry and Orthopedics.

Carmen joined the Integrative Family Medicine team in 2021, quickly becoming an integral part of our full-time, primary care/occupational clinic at the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company in Mills River. She feels her role is more than just a job, it is a calling and a privilege to get to help people.

Outside of work, Carmen loves spending time with her husband and two beautiful kids, travelling, hiking, camping, and walking her adorable Dachshund (Dixie).
