INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 lbs asparagus, spears trimmed 4-5 inches long tips
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • blackpepper
  • 4 slices bacon
  • chives (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. Lightly coat asparagus in extra-virgin olive oil. Season the asparagus with black pepper. Gather bundles of of 4-6 asparagus spears and wrap with bacon.
  3. Place bundles on slotted broiler pan. Bake 12 minutes.
