Willow Dorris, NBC-HWC

Health Coach

Willow grew up here in southern Appalachia which shaped her love for nature and how she views the world. She studied at the University of North Carolina Wilmington where she earned her bachelor's degree in Healthy Living and Lifetime Fitness with a minor in Yoga Studies and her 200-hour yoga teacher training. Early in her career, she worked as the Healthy Living Coordinator for a community wellness organization. It was here that Willow was inspired to further her studies in holistic health and continued to Hill College where she studied nutrition, clinical herbalism, and health coaching through their Holistic Wellness Pathway. As a Health and Wellness Coach, Willow supports patients as they translate medical recommendations into sustainable lifestyle changes using evidence-based coaching, motivational interviewing, and client-centered goal setting. She is dedicated to helping individuals build confidence, autonomy, and consistency in their health behaviors while honoring their unique values and life circumstances.

In her free time Willow enjoys preparing herbal remedies, studying and teaching yoga, cooking nourishing food, hiking, playing tennis, and reading.
