Katherine Wilson, MSHN, partners with people in making nutrition and lifestyle changes to achieve optimal wellness. Her focus is transitioning people to a whole food diet by utilizing person centered planning and experiential education in navigating the food system. Katherine specializes in the connection between the gut’s effect on physical and mental well-being, medication optimization, nutritional supplementation, and the correlation between inflammation, food sensitivities, food allergies, and illness.

She believes that incorporating nutrition education into primary care creates sustainable outcomes and long term lifestyle changes for patients. By implementing these nutritional, wellness, and lifestyle changes, she finds that people can become active participants in changing the course of their individual health and the health of our community. Katherine is experienced in conducting nutritional assessments, facilitating groups, teaching classes, and providing one-on-one health coaching.

Katherine holds a M.S. in Holistic Nutrition (MSHN) from Hawthorn University and a B.A. in Gender Studies from Colorado College. She is also a certified Integrative Health Coach and certified Natural Chef and Nutrition Consultant. Katherine is also trained in interventions for eating disorders and as a Certified Tobacco Cessation Specialist.
